The number of serious cases referred for investigation in three years now at 310.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has referred 43 more unruly plane passenger cases to the FBI, recommending them for investigation and potential criminal prosecution. The FBI and the FAA began to partner to address instances of unruly passengers in 2021. Since then, over 310 cases have been transferred to the FBI’s jurisdiction. Many of these cases document instances of physical assault, sexual assault, and inappropriately touching minor passengers.

“Dangerous passengers put everyone at risk—and the Biden-Harris Administration has been clear that those who disrupt flights will be held accountable,” said Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg“Unruly travelers face stiff fines from the FAA and possible criminal prosecution too.”

“There’s absolutely no excuse for unruly behavior,” said FAA Administrator Mike Whitaker. “It threatens the safety of everyone on board and we have zero tolerance for it.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Secretary Buttigieg as he oversees the Department of Transportation.
  • For Administrator Whitaker to seek God as he heads the FAA.
  • For Americans to turn their hearts toward the Lord and love Him and their neighbors.
